A Charmhaven Win

My Sydney clients wanted a dual-income property on the Central Coast. 

At the time, stock levels were tight in the market, but I’m always particular about the dual occupancy properties I select for my clients. We took our time looking, knowing the right property would come along that matched their investment goals.

The owners lived in the main house, so it was presented really nicely – a bit higher quality than your typical investment property. You don’t always find that in the investment market, where properties can sometimes show signs of wear and tear from previous tenants.

The granny flat was relatively new, too, which was another big plus. 

For my clients, this meant both dwellings needed minimal repairs and maintenance. In my experience, this kind of ready-to-go setup saves investors both time and money in the long run.

We moved quickly to secure the property at $940,000. Its strong rental demand and low-maintenance features delivered a solid 5.5% yield—exactly the kind of return my clients were after. 

Needless to say, they were really happy with the result.
